It is not by any stretch of the imagination a medical text for the hypochondriac lurking in all of us seeking answers to every day ailments. It is, however, an interesting book to skim to answer age old questions like "Is it really bad to crack your knuckles?" and "Can you really lose a contact lens in the back of your eye?" The answer to both of those being, no. And now I know.
