Day one of our local heatwave happens to coincide with my wedding anniversary. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better gift. I love it hot. I am thrilled to be warm. What sucks, is that my family does not like the heat. And let me tell you, when a 2 yr old ain't happy, ain't NO ONE happy. But really this is all a really long way to go to ponder heat sayings.
"Hotter than blue blazes." - That, I get.
"Colder than a witches tit." That, I don't. And of all people, that one is a favorite of my mother.

Remember the debate.... it's not the heat it is the humidity. We are having both. Sticky!
