Yes, the nerdiness continues at my house. That's not a new exotic cocktail I am mixing up in my handy dandy blender. That's horseradish. And wow does it burn your eyes and nose.
This picture so does not do justice to the pain one feels leaning over a blender of horseradish trying to decide if you have added enough vinegar. On the up side, I am now the proud owner of 4 and a half pints of home made horseradish which will last about 5 meals of hamburgers...

OH silly silly sister... did you not know that you grind that stuff up outside in the breeze! It burns like shit and then you must rest your eyes to relieve the burning! OUCH!! I feel the burn....
