So, not to make sci-fi romance feel all lonely, I decided I had to include a bit about paranormal romances. This includes all the weird ghostbuster-eque plot lines like psychics, ghosts, werewolves and vampires to name a few. Now, were this sub-genre goes right is that it gets to at least partially bask in the glow of "the real world" were as sci-fi doesn't. It's still earth. There are still humans involved and never do you ever have to stop and say to yourself, so in this galaxy what a friggin' coincidence that the main male and female characters both have bilateraly symmetry and can speak each other's language even thought they are from different galaxies...
That said... It still takes a lot to swallow a vampire romace (har har...)
