Linda Howard – One of my favorites...
Open Season. So so book. Daisy is a little hard to take as a character and so are many others in the small town. Having grown up in a small town, had a hard time suspending my disbelief even for one of my favorite authors.
Kill and Tell. Have a soft spot in my heart for Marc Chastain. The only downfall was the ending which seemed a tad far fetched. Otherwise a solid Howard read.
Dying to Please. Another favorite. Nice to see such a believably strong female lead in a mystery. The strip fight contest is one of my favorite scenes.
Strangers in the Night. 3-in-1. First sucked (skip it). Second is only ok (read if desparate). Last was fantastic.
Sarah’s Child. Skip it. Horrible plot. Horrible characters.
Now You See Her. Much more surreal than her other books with the painting the crime scene plot but an ok read.
After the Night. Sex is great, characters ok, plot sucked.
Mr. Perfect. Vintage Linda Howard. Loved the plot enough to suspend disbelief for parts and the main characters were great. Engaging mystery with great sex.
