for the love of all that is good in this world, just spray the plants!

While Jege is away at the family cabin, my kids and I are in charge of keeping her outside plants alive. Now, I like to think I am a pretty easy going person but for some reason putting a hose in my son's hand ups my blood pressure even with the water turned off. There is just something about a spray nozzle with settings that rocks his little world and causes me to completely lose my patience. Why? Because he has to use every setting for every plant. It's not hurting anything. It's not wrong. But damn if it isn't the most annoying and irritating ritual for me to witness.
