Ok, so there was much gnashing of teeth (har har) and many tears, but my 5 yr old managed to pull out his loose tooth all by himself last night. Tooth #5. No post pull popsicle or anything. I am so proud!
I am telling you, be thankful. It really isn't all that great. Fights over when it comes out. Tears over imagined pain. Blood as it gets "accidentally" knocked out by the toothbrush. Really, bide your time...
