"I don't trust anything that bleeds for days and doesn't die"

Ok, at this point I am apt to agree. Spotting. Periods. They are from hell. I am trying to explain to my husband that women don't like to have sex while having their period not because we are squeamish (god forbid), but because we don't want to have to clean up the goddamned mess. Am I wrong?
