You know you have lived in the Pacific NW a long time when you start using leftover Christmas turkey to make sushi rolls. And for the record, my daughter, who has been fed brown rice all her life, thought that the white sticky sushi rice was the devil incarnate. Weee!

The next time we go to the beach house, I am TOTALLY bringing the sushi fixins' for all the fresh ocean catch. And come on! White rice is gross??? It's white rice!
I can handle white rice, but sushi is what is geeerrrooosss!
