A while ago I posted about going through nearly a decade's worth of receipts. Well, here's the exciting update - I am up to (or down to depending on how you look at it) 2002's receipts! Yup. I have literally been shredding for WEEKS and still have a looooong way to go. Why has it taken so long? Did I really buy that much crap over the years?
When you get right down to it? I forget. Between forgetting and stopping my momentum to give the shredder a break (I can't tell you how many I have burned out over the years), I simply need to admit defeat and truck my receipts to one of those public shredding day deals....
