sometimes, it's the little things...

As a bribe to get my daughter out of the library, I let her check out a Blues Clues cd. That may not sound like much, but truly I tell you, that was a huge step for me.

I loathe children's music. I would rather listen to country music than children's music. And, god forbid, there are KIDS SINGING children's music? I will not be responsible for my actions.

Imagine my face when we get to the song about the planets. Specifically the part where Steve from Blues Clues sings the phrase "Uranus turns on it's side!" Yeah, it makes me laugh every time. It's right up there with the moments when the word "ass" shows up in a church hymn.
